He's ice cold, which relates good in West Coast seeing as he's one of the hardest rappers to come out of the West Coast. Not to mention that the gang violence, and the rough life some of them live, so Ice Cube is a perfect name for what he did and what he represented. Ice cold = killer.

Plus once you hear that name, there's no forgetting it. :smoking:
