Ridiculously Feature Heavy Albums...

Postby EminemBase » Feb 23rd, '10, 10:44

I was just looking back at Game's albums and thinking how ridiculously feature heavy they are.

On his debut he had 4 solo tracks. On his second album he had 4 again. On his third he had 3 solo tracks. SOLO ALBUMS? Really... He doesn't produce any tracks and 3-4 actual solo tracks on each album, in total it's 11 solo tracks over 3 albums. That's fucking ridiculous.

This is less to highlight just Game but similar artists. I mean Jay-Z had 5 solo tracks on BP3. This is just absurd, I'm sure Em would be taken as seriously had he only had that amount on each album. Gimmie a fucking break. Rappers who do this don't deserve to call them solo albums.

You really don't consider that a weakness?

Maybe you're just not passionate about hip-hop or credibility then. Because it matters to me.

I don't listen to The Game
but I wouldn't like that if Em or someother my favorite artists does it that way
I mean, I'd buy the album to listen my favorite artist and not for a bunch of other rappers - then it should be called a colab-album, so it'd be fair
and know what, that doesn't make him any more likeable to me

Yeah that's what's most annoying to me. His fans can't really care that much because if Relapse had 5 solo tracks I would be fucking pissed.

I'm buying a SOLO artist's album to hear THEM not a bunch of other fucker's who I purposely have avoided listening to. Total laziness.

I don't really care. Because most of Game's tracks have been dope as hell, with or without features. :b:
