Ooh, I didn't see this.
Good news, but I hope they they start getting more original with their concepts.
SOL was a cliché fest, and the only thing that saved it was the insane lyricism.

I've been meaning to get into RA for ages. What would people say their best album is? I downloaded State Of Lunacy earlier so will have a listen to that in a bit.

Do any of you know a good place to details on the samples used in SOL also I do wish they'd get the lyrics section of the website up.

Downloaded SOL of your hip hop catalogue, Cole and just listened through it and really enjoyed it. Was suprised to find that they were British as I literally never knew that. They have a sound different to a lot of British rap though.

It was just full of absolute insane lyricism. Some of it was actaully breathtaking.

But I agree with 4G, I hope they have a few more original ideas/concepts on their upcoming one. I'll definitely look forward to it, though. Crooked I as a feature is a major coup for them as well.

idk why anyone would want them to switch up their style? they've only had one album, I mean I want at least a second straight album of it then they can start experimenting, for now they are just doing it right, killing every thing

I think the insane lyricism on its own will work for one album but it may get old quickly on another album. I could be wrong and I've always been a sucker for concepts. I just think there stuff will start to sound unoriginal. We'll see.

Dunno if anyone's seen/heard, but the Crooked I feature is now up on myspace, not too bad.

wasn't too amazing :coffee:

Yeah, I kinda feel what you're saying there. Apart from For The Hate, none of the new tracks really appear to be that memorable...Although the "I ejaculate sperm whales outta my moby dick" line made me smile.
