Lupe Fiasco

The most underrated rapper ever. He is both a lyricist and a musician. His beats and rhyme schemes do not control him, he controls them. The only artist with 2 classics and still has a relatively small underground following.

My favorites deal with Michael Young History. Put You On Game is beautiful though.

Probably my fourth favourite rapper.

The guy is a genius. His wordplay and his concepts are seriously breathtaking. Makes pretty radio-firendly songs as well so I'm suprised that, with the exception os Superstar, he hasnt really hit it mainstream wise.

Hip Hop Saved My Life is my favourite song. PErfection.

Not gunna lie, I had to google the meaning of the lyrics to Dumb It Down - I got some of 'em, but others went right over my head.

That's where you're wrong, he's pretty well known actually.

Anyway, can't wait for lasers. :y:

What is his best album? I was about to buy The Cool but then play.com decided to raise up the price by 200 %....

Most people think Food & Liquor but I prefer The Cool.

Both absolutely world class though.
