Snoop has just announced that Doggystyle 2 is in the making. To me it sounds like he's going to shoot himself in the foot, everyone will measure it up against the first one which was a straight classic.

Anyways, I'm still a fan of the guy (although he has released quite a few bad albums) cus he's still mad talented. It sounds like Swizz Beats is going to produce the whole shit (or at least the majority of it) which is exactly what I wanted since it means that the album will have a trademark sound like the first one. That is Doggystyle ish.

Seems like everybody is trying to jump on the success OB4CL part 2 by bringing out a part 2 of their best album - this is about 10 years too late for Snoop

I use to be a fan of snoop dogg a long ass time ago like around 2000 now he just fucking sucks but we'll see what this album has in store for us.. [i'll probably give it a check out......(maybe)]

Just because it's called "Doggstyle 2" some people will now think he's going to drop something mindblowing. His last album, "Malice 'n' Wonderland" was pretty terrible, what makes some think that his next album is going to be a classic or at least great album? The name? Knowing that Swizz Beatz is going to produce most of the album makes it hopeless to me, but I'm just being pessimistic about it, hopefully it will deliver.

If Dr. Dre was the producer, I would say that it may have a shot at being fit for the name.

Unfortunately, that's not the case, and this album is going to be a huge disappointment.
