Adjusted for population, Recovery sold more in Canada and in the UK than in the USA.

What's nice though is the 17% drop, which is really impressive.

Shows that Recovery is riding on the success of LTWYL and Not Afraid on radio.

I expect a very low % drop for the next two weeks (current and next week) as LTWYL's video gets released on TVs and on Internet.

This should help Recovery survive at #1 until Camp Rock 2 comes around; if it survives CR2, then it's safe to say Recovery will be #1 until Usher's EP and Katy Perry's CD come around (in 3-4 weeks).

I think I'm seeing a trend with Hits Daily Double and the sales for a new release.

Rick Ross - overstated about 10,000
Recovery - overstated about 10,000 (i think the final HHD #s where 750, and soundscan was 740)
Drake - overstated about 10,000 (if I remember correctly)

I wonder if there's actually a reason for this, maybe because new releases don't get sales from monday? I can't really find any data because first weeks sales that matter are soundscan. It's only three examples so it could be coincidence.
