Recovery will sell more than C3. That's a given. Just like it's a given Recovery will outsell Relapse. No use denying it.

As of right now, the race for top album of the year. The only other ones in contention are probably yet to be released albums by Taylor Swift and Susan Boyle. Where those release dates fall late in the year it will be tough but doable for them to maybe have the top album of the year. Smart Money is on Em.

2.7 probably. That would be my real conservative guess. If i went out on a limb i would say 3.3 Million to Lady A 3.1 Million.

Yes. It's 2nd right now. Nobody really close to second. Lady Gaga has sold like 1.2 million this year. Black Eyed Peas with 975K this year. Beiber is at like 1.6 Million so that is the closest to Em and it came out before Recovery and Recovery is almost 300K above it.

I guess i could list Kanye (comes out Oct 14) or Katy Perry (Aug 24) but i think Katy is more of a singles artist and I think Kanye will do 808's type numbers and there fore won't be a threat.

I think the only way to make a good guess at Recovery's totals by the end of the year would be to say:

1.98M currently.

He will sell over 100K for I'd say 4 more weeks, so conservatively that's another 500k in the next month.

So by mid Sept: 2.5M

If he can sell over 50k for the next month, again being pretty conservative, that's another 200k.

So mid Oct: 2.7M

The last 10 weeks of the year selling another 400k seems reasonable, especially with the christmas push.

So by end of year I'd say conservatively he'll sell 3.1 million.

My actual guess would be 3.3-3.4 million, which should get him the top spot
