Yeah 3x Platinum by year end is 100% guaranteed especially with the big sales boost at christmas.

3 Million within 6-7 weeks and 3.3 million by Jan 1st 2011 would be my estimate.

A large boost all through decemeber but the biggest comes the week before christmas.

I think it's fair to say Recovery will still be in the top 20 in 2 months time so if you take a look at last years christmas week in the link below all albums in the top 20 are above 80k. If Em has a single out around christmas week he could well have a shot at a 100k week again.

Christmas sales season is the only part of the year that is immune from the sales decline, the sales this christmas will be pretty much the same as last.

2007 Christmas sales were pretty much the same as 2009, maybe even worse:

Relapse was about #60 or so, that album fell hard. But Returned the weekend after christmas because of Refill but for some reason Hits DD don't allow us to see the week after christmas sales.

Lose Yourself Tops 3 Million in Paid Downloads

Eminem this week becomes the first hip-hop artist with three songs at or above the 3 million mark in paid downloads (combining lead and featured credits). He achieves the feat as his Oscar-winning anthem "Lose Yourself" hits the 3 million mark. It follows "Love The Way You Lie" (featuring Rihanna) and Akon's "Smack That," on which Em was featured.

"Lose Yourself," which Eminem introduced in his 2002 film 8 Mile, is the third movie hit to top 3 million in digital sales.
