Ross last album dropped in 2009...that was only last year

albums sale go down every year

i dont think the guy i quoted knew Ross had an album last year though...i mean if you sold 150k first week last year it would be like 120k this year...it's not gonna be 50k for a semi big name like Rick Ross

I find it interesting how Eminem fans are so united and like-minded in their rap interests (especially for new/er rap). Drake disappointed, BOB shined, Lil Wayne's a gimmick / at best wasted talent, Chamillionaire thumbs up, Rick Ross blows.

At least, I've sensed a consensus with my tastes here. Maybe I'm wrong.

Come to think about it, I've even seen the same like-mindedness in non-rap. Most people seem to give Lady Gaga her dues, while calling out embarrassments such as Kesha or Usher (at least, that new track...) and the Black Eyed Peas (THEIR OLD STUFF WAS TIGHT WTF HAPPENED?)

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne fans seem to be into the same stuff... Rick Ross, Gucci Mane (I guess), ...Waka Flocka?

I agree wit you for most of the part.Only thing is that Lady Gaga gets much hate from Eminem fans, every Eminem fan on youtube says she sucks and shit. They`re mad at her cause she`s much bigger then Em nowdays. And Kesha, that bitch is just trying to be Gaga, thats why most of the people hate her, even tho I like Tik-Tok,I never liked Usher and BEP is dope nowdays,I like this new stuff more then the old stuff.I Gotta Feeling,Boom Boom Pow,Meet Me Halfway :worship: ...all dope songs to bump in your car

• Next week, it looks like Rick Ross' "Teflon Don" could be the Billboard 200's new No. 1 as industry prognosticators predict the set might sell somewhere around the 150,000 to 180,000. Ross' last three studio albums all debuted at No. 1 as well, with his last set, 2009's "Deeper Than Rap," arriving with 158,000. Eminem's "Recovery," which has been No. 1 for four weeks running, will likely slide to No. 2.

Billboard underestimated Recovery's first week. I think it's safe to say they are underestimating Recovery's 5th week.

Well, they have sources for numbers & predictions, we don't so I'll believe them. Ross is still #1 on iTunes right? it's not that hard to believe.

Em will probably be #1 again next week cuz Ross will likely suffer a typical 70% drop from first week. If so I'm a little mad cuz it won't be 6 consecutive weeks at #1

Well the point is they were wrong in two of the predictions the first three weeks of Recovery with the numbers. So it's not like im just saying this as an Em fan. The billboard predictions have been off recently. I'll wait for the HDD predictions before i make an opinion.
