Even if it doesn't, I think the fact that Eminem (12 years deep into his career) is so close to beating the current world's most popular musician for worldwide 2010 sales , is amazing.

You have to remember Gaga is at the peak of her popularity right now too and Em isn't far behind at all.

I really doubt in 12 years time Gaga will be pushing the next "hot thing" as close as Em is right now.

Eminem is the definition of longevity.

Plus it's almost 100% guaranteed he's going to have the #1 highest selling album in USA for 2010 right?

yeah I don't think even her fans can say she will have the best selling album in the country or the world in next 12 years. Em's about to have 2 best selling albums 8 years apart, who else has done that?

AJS2050, in terms of US sales was Relapse the highest selling hip hop album for 2009?

And where was it in the 2009 highest selling albums as a whole? (I'm guessing top 5?)

Damn, 5,2 mill in just one year :worship: :worship: :worship:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I think the SSLP might have been the best selling hip-hop album of 1999, not 100% sure though. Juvenile may have sold near SSLP figures. SSLP finnished in the top 20 best sellers of 1999. Wasn't really any big hip-hop sellers.
