Two of his own, a son and a daughter, and then he and his wife take care of their niece and nephew as well, kinda like Em does with Alaina.

I dunno, D12 was multiplatinum on both their albums. I doubt any of them makes a lot off solo work, unfortunately, but they probably made quite a bit from D12.

All I remember is seeing the VH1 special on TLC and one of the members saying how, even after they went diamond...after splitting it 3 ways, and after their budget had to expense music videos, marketing, etc. As well as paying managers and whoever else is involved, plus the money that goes to the label, they each made about 900k, and then after taxes it was like 500-600k. Which is nuts. So I mean, multiplatinum between 6 artists with all of that.

I mean they went on tour, but em headlines and D12 wasn't even an act, they came out during ems set. I'm just saying, I dont think its that much, and even if it was decent, its been 8 years since D12 World.

Major label artists don't make much off of royalties. A group, with 6 guys? Based on the information in this article, with a little bit of w!ggle room, they're each making $0.20 per album...and that's after the costs have been recovered for the label, and it's not counting any outside production fees.

Artists, and major label artists in particular, make their money on tours and merchandising. That's what concerns me about D12, because I'm quite sure that they're not making big money on either of those things nowadays. Hopefully they all saved their money, and invested it responsibly.

Otherwise, we'll start seeing them selling features online for a couple hundred dollars a pop...oh wait...
