@AJ What are the 2nd week numbers of both MMLP & TES?

USA:

MMLP:

1st Week: 1,793,248
2nd Week: 842,101
3rd Week: 603,632
4th Week: 508,335

TES:

1st Week: 311,399 (3 days)
2nd Week: 1,394,530
3rd Week: 764,620
4th Week: 534,679

So, TES`s first week was just 3 days? How? Maybe it would go 2 mill if it had the whole week, what do you think AJ?

I remember it leaked early so they decided to release the album earlier on a friday insted of the following monday, i think, so it got fri-sun to chart. I think in the first 7 days it probably sold 1.5m. So technically it sold around 1.5m in its first week. Same with Encore as that album certainly sold over 1 million in its first 7 days as it done this:

Encore:

1st Week: 737,250 (3 days)
2nd Week: 927,940
3rd Week: 468,007

So Encore sold 700k first 3 days and TES 300, but on charts TES sold 1 mill first week, but nok Encore? What the fuck?

^Yeah that's right. Not alot of people including myself knew that The Eminem Show was moved forward a few days and so it didn't take off as fast in the early release. Encore was also released during the 4th quarter and so thats why it had large sales from nov-jan.

If i remember correctly, not a lot of people knew TES was dropping.
But in Encore's case, the album leaked so he rushed the album and put it out earlier and told everyone it's gonna be out some-days earlier.
P.S. After he released TES & 8 Mile, i think people thought that Encore would be as good as them so people went to buy it on the first day.

I swear, I HATE it so much, when they release an album on a non regular day. Wtf?! I like the fact, the MMLP sold over 1.7 millions in week one, so I would have loved to see what TES and Encore were able to do. But they ruined it.

1.5 million-TES (1st week)
1.3 million-Encore (1st week)
plus 1.7 million-MMLP (1st week)

Damn 14k after 43 weeks. How much do you guys think the sales will increase once the Space Bound video is released?

And btw. - I didn't understand wtf went on with the Recovery release. I remember being really pissed of cuz it was anticipated by one day. So I thought it would have had really bad first week sales. So what happened? That wasn't registered? So there were sales, but they didn't count?

Not really sure, that there will be a big increase.

Possibly but probably around the same amount. I can't remember how early TES leaked but it wasn't as early as they do now.
