Well, you don't think it's great. It's okay, because Recovery is a classic that will be remembered like TES or MMLP due to the huge success it had. That's fucked up because TES and MMLP are 5023123 better, but hey, Recovery introduced a lot of people to Em's older material.

I know all that, it had Huge mainstream appeal, doesn't mean it isn't overrated... or doesn't change the quality of the tracks... It's defiently not classic IMO, solid 7-7.5/10

Recovery is his most hated album its considered great by only a few people and alot just hate on it so its not overrated either.

actually it is too overrated, alot of people consider it his greatest album (check alot of people who got into em cause of recovery), and alot of ppl say it's level with TES :s

plus it's not by any means his most hated album, ppl bash on Relapse too much and almost everyone bashes on Encore.... I understand not liking encore, but Relapse shouldn't get hate at all yet it does

There's actually alot of people hating Recovery more than those two albums and Relapse isn't so hated now.
