What's the site you get the updates from? I think you, or someone else had it posted like a few months ago... Please let me know homie. I don't wanna bug you all the time with the sales of the rest Shady artists so I'd be just checking 'em from there.

http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=56627
Is a good thread for rap album sales. They keep track of the best selling rap albums starting with 1987. They only have the top 10 for albums before 2009(I think I haven't checked the thread in a while), but afterward I think they keep track of more albums. This might be a good place to start.
A lot of other sites(including the one I just linked) also post billboard 200 charts with soundscan numbers if you'd like to look there for the sales of specific albums.
I don't know if you're looking for up to date album sales or the total sales. Both can be hard to find if the artist or group isn't charting currently on the billboard 200, but if you'd give me the names of the people who's sales you're specifically looking for I can help you find them.

Thanks homie :y:

I checked it & I gotta say it's a great web site for like rough sales. It's great it goes way back too. Great info overall. :y:

Yeah, I'm looking for like accurate up to date sales like the ones Mikey puts here weekly & I know it's hard to find right after albums drop from Top 200. 50 Cent & G-Unit (the group) current up to date sales are something I mostly want to see... if you could get any of that it'd be great. I mean whatever Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit album you stumble on while looking for that info would be great too actually.

If you think some of those sales won't fit in this thread, you can DM them to me even though if others don't mind it's not gonna be bad to post them in the thread anyway.

That means Recovery dropped outta Top 200 for the first time... right?
Still good numbers for all those 4 albums though... & great for Loose Yourself.

Definitely... when his new albums hit, they always drag his old ones plus some of his old singles up in the charts. Loose Yourself & LTWYL are gonna be the two that will take off again for sure when EM drops the new album & single.

I actually think it will be Lose Yourself,Not Afraid, and Till I Collapse, since those three had the best catalogue sales from all of his singles last year. LTWYL will definitely sell as well, but not as well as the other three.

The three singles sold this much from the start of 2012 to October:

INT 137 EMINEM LOSE YOURSELF 643,539
INT 164 EMINEM TILL I COLLAPSE 541,077
INT 187 EMINEM NOT AFRAID 458,445

I got the information from a year to date digital songs chart for the year 2012. LTWYL wasn't in the top 200.

Since I couldn't find a YTD digital songs chart that dated later than October, I found and used figures from the start of 2012 (Jan 1.)and the end of 2012(Jan 4. 2013) to calculated how much the songs sold in total for the year. I couldn't find any figures for Till I Collapse from the beginning of 2012, so I didn't include it.

LTWYL 5,704,887 - 5,220,000 = 484,887
Lose Yourself 5,158,564 - 4,336,746 = 821,818
Not Afraid 4,779,658 - 4,084,099 = 695,559

As you can see, LTWYL doesn't sell as well in catalogue as the other Three.

You might be right, you never know about stuff like that but it's kinda tricky.
Lose Yourself is gonna definitely always be there, that's for sure & there's no doubt about it.
You forget something though... Everybody had LTWYL before last year çuz it moved all those digits for like less than a couple of years which happen to be the two years prior to the last one. Statistically that's way more than what Lose Yourself sold for like a decade or so.
The overall sales are really important if we talk about the so called ever green records that bounce back when artists themselves bounce back with newer material so to me Lose Yourself & LTWYL come first.
Not afraid has been catching up from the day LTWYL blew up so it's kind of normal 'cuz it surely never had such a huge commercial splash. Till I collapse went crazy last years çuz it was on the soundtrack of Real steel which came in 2011 & was a blockbuster & if I'm not mistaken it was included in another movie or a video game soundtrack as well.
I can be totally sure Lose Yourself & LTWYL are gonna be the ones that would bounce back indeed, but honestly I won't be surprised if the ones you pointed out bounced back as well. I won't be surprised even if others kind of took off too.

That was the point actually. I just gave them as examples but overall I meant that when EM's new albums hit, they drag older albums & singles up in the charts. We'll still have to wait & see anyway.

Ironically to our point though... Speaking about singles LTWYL's gigantic commercial splash is exactly what has dragged everything else up in the charts more than anything before it, more or less including all of his singles prior to it. Including Lose Yourself, Till I collapse & Not afraid in this matter.

Most importantly....Thanks a lot for bringing those numbers. :y: Please do whenever you look for or stumble on stuff like that.
