EM was moping the floor with JT & his band mates or with any boy band in genearl in the past but it's different today... JT is way younger & is always active with music & movies. His music fits better to the nowadays popular criteria, esp. if we talk about radio.
On top of it he has just under 18 million followers on twitter with whom he interacts on daily, even hourly basis.
Even though EM's charisma & music are still out of this world & the crazy following is still there, unfortunately Paul's & his dinosaur methods put a certain barrier to his sales.
I think they'd be more than happy if EM did anything over 700k anyway.

Actually to be fair, N*Sync used to outsell Eminem in the past. He certainly wasn't mopping the floor with them in sales (just talent ;))

I knew you were gonna come back...

Thanks for the info, yet again we all knew that. I obviously I wasn't talking about EM outselling NSync, I don't know if anyone have outsold them if we talk about first week sales period. One of the Backstreet Boys' albums total was bigger that TMMLP total too if I'm not mistaken. Anyway.

He did mop the floor with them & with other boy bands though, OBVIOUSLY... he even pulled the plug on 'em. Eminem is one of the few major reasons boy bands who came hard along or a little after him don't exist no more. Eminem is also one of the few reasons JT went solo & changed the pop bubble gum beats with Timbaland beats & most of it one of the few reasons JT turned his ridiculous bubblegum pop style into impressive pop/soul/R&B style. I do mean ONE OF THE FEW reasons though, not the only one.

By the way if you wanna act smart again, don't bother... I already know what your next post will be all about ya know. Ignorant, irrelevant, sad & having the words ''trolling'' & moron all over the place.

I do everything to avoid your lame & ignorant posts, so if you don't wanna always look bad just ignore mine as well. I mean you say you're smart & that's what smart people do... so do it.

Good luck! :y:

I do apologize though, if you were just saying & didn't wanna start another sad & pointless argument.

On topic... I'm almost sure JT will outsell EM this time around but as I said in my previous post it'd be totally normal 'cuz of those reasons I put out there.

What the fuck? lol Recovery is back to Top 200, other albums keep adding nicely too & Lose Yourself & LTWYL keep selling like they hit 3 months ago or something.
No wonder they don't rush the new album. lol

I just took a looks at the Wikipedia article about Eminem's discography. The worldwide sales numbers they have for his albums are ridiculously inflated and his US sales are for the most part old numbers. They have SSLP at 15 million when it's sold 10 million WW at best. MMLP is listed as having sold 27 million when it's sold around 23-24 million WW. Eminem Show is listed as having sold 25 million while it's sold 21-22 million at most. Encore by far has the worst inflation. They put it at 18 million while the album has sold 11-12 million at best. The only number that's accurate is 5million for Relapse.

Worse than any of that though, is that they have Redemption as the name for his 8th album. :facepalm

Yeah Wikipedia is a rough source... accuracy is never on point.

Great find. :y:
I gotta give it up to Wayne too though... even his rock album & the mixtape that turned album while he was in jail did great, plus two or his artists are second & third behind EM in 2010.
On top of it in 2011/2012, Wayne, Drake & Nicki dropped one more each that went over a mill too. There were a few more albums YMCMB dropped in that period of time that are close to Luda's numbers as well.
Damn... Wayne just dropped another this week & Drake's coming too... this shit is insane!

Even though Recovery numbers are untouchable I wish EM & his artists could drop that many albums! Damn!

There really wasn't any need to get defensive, I wasn't trying to start shit.

I personally totally avoid & never read yours if they aren't quoting me so you won't need to worry about me been defensive/offensive no more..
Good luck :y:

Great!
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
