You may be right. The thing is you can be right and Eminem will still get #1. Look at last week for example. They were off on Ross. They can be off on Avenged. As i said on another forum...

I think there is one thing we know for sure about this week is we won't know till Soundscan is out who will be #1.

Also someone needs to edit wiki and put that it was #1 in Brazil.

I did noticed that they lowered the prediction for A7F compared to one-day projection earlier, so we still have about 20% chance to be #1, 40% if the video dropped saturday.

Yep. While a video would help i don't think if it ends up #2 we can say that is the reason it didnt get top spot. Video's are hardly even played on TV anymore. So while it is a benefit how much of one is in question.

Still as i predicted the other day Recovery will sell consistently all week. Avenged won't. Now Avenged could still come out on top but it won't be by much if they do. :y:

Normal video may won't help much, but we're talking about the most hyped video of the year with all star cast, it's guaranteed to explode on youtube once it premiere. Videos is a kind of publicity/promo too and that definitely does help the sale (one of the reason why last week sale was so good)

No doubt that it helps. How much is up to debate. Now if Em loses by say 3-5 K then i would say them not putting out a video kept them for #1. If Em loses by 10-15K then i wouldnt be so sure. Hopefully it is put out by Sat Afternoon.

As for next week’s #1, even though the numbers suggest otherwise, it's still too close to call between front-running Avenged Sevenfold and steady Eminem heading into the weekend. If you’re a betting man, it’s best to hedge on this horse race.

are you a bit disappointed in the sale this week? cuz I remember earlier you were saying it would do at least 170k?
187k last week & 155k this week, that's quite a sizeable drop

That's not that big of a drop compared what other artists do. :laughing:

Is it a higher drop then i thought it would be? Yeah. But let's be real here. That is a small drop compared to what the majority of artists drop.

I guess, the rest of the chart makes Recovery's 6th week number looks spectacular. Rick Ross from 170 drop to 60k :laughing:

I do think that is a smaller drop then Drake had his second week for Ross. Drake had a 70% Drop.

Maybe he will tweet that?

"I had a smaller percentage second week drop then Drake!"

While ignoring the fact he would not even be at half the number sales drake was after two weeks.
