now that em is #1 and#3 again even if he may "just" be on 2 this week, this is a good start for next week ;-)

nobody who will challenge Em in the next three weeks. Then Katy Perry comes out the 24th and that of course will sell good enough to get #1. But Recovery at worst will have 8 non consecutive weeks at #1.

this week will determine if it get's 9 in a row.

do you want to see the list of the upcoming releases? Avenged did 90K last album. None of the next three weeks albums have had anything close on those artists previous albums.

Arcade Fire and Buck Cherry will be the highest debuts.

10 August

Cam'ron and Mike Posner will be the highest debuts.

17 August

Ciara and Filter will be the highest debuts.


I don't see anything that will do over 80K. Posner maybe but with that being his debut. While cooler than me is a hot seller on itunes who knows if that will cross over to album sales. Remember TI was pushed back from the 17th.


Basically after these weeks i think Recovery is done at #1 because you have Katy the Aug 24th, Disturbed the 31st of Aug, and Stone Sour the 7th of September. Then TI whenever that got pushed back to.

Yep. So when you look, Recovery will have to start having 50% drops in the next three weeks after this to not get #1. It could happen but i doubt it. I think it's safe to say he will do over 80K the next three weeks after this. With a mix of 20% type drops.

I could be wrong. Some albums might surprise us. Recovery could have a 30% - 50% drop. I doubt this.
