This song was made the day Eminem left the Rap Olympics and according to the creators/producers of this song Em was a quiet, humble kid that was a beast in the booth. They claimed at first they weren’t fucken with him due to the fact his style wasn’t abstract as theirs but they decided to give him a shot just because his talent was evident as fuck. So, anyways, Em had just finished the Rap Olympics and had followed them to lay down his verse then later on that evening he was freestyling on the radio and Dre heard him/signed him. This was the last “underground collab” song he did before finally getting big.
