My first beat!!!

I just recently downloaded fl 8 studio, and i've been tinkering with it. this is what came out.

Lol its way better than my first one. More diverse and stuff, and it was long. Ur using fruity loops right? How did u get it to make something over 1 minutes, mine only goes up to 9 seconds.

ur using the step sequencer aren't you, u gotta learn to use the playlist and piano roll and get a midi keyboard.. without it, it'll be a pain .

Go to view in your fl studio and under there is something called the Play List... think about it like itunes... you make a playlist and you have songs.. in fl studio, there's play lists and patterns.. you arrange the pattern in a way that when you press Play (you have to have song selected)it plays it that way..

piano roll is just basically a piano looking outline.. you dont need to know how to play piano but using the piano roll is recommonded, because you can see what notes your playing.. but if ur really into producing and shit, then you need to get a keyboard, becuase otherwise you'll be having to press with your mouse to make melodies, and that's annoying.
