What's the best way to get a name?

I'm planning on doing some rap stuff, but Painless is too R&B-sounding for my taste. What's a good way to get a name? Is it just random or how do you do it?

A word that can represent the style of writing you present. I'm not a thug sounding rapper and I try to be more straight to the point and concentrate on life whether it be good or bad, but music is way of channeling my emotion. So I use Solace, meaning a place of comfort I believe. Maybe a play off your real name or something too.

I settled on Zabe. Because I'm weird and the name is weird. And it sounds cool.

Most rap names suck or sound generic. It's the content that sells, not the name.

Just don't incorporate words like, lil, kid, hood ect. And u will be good.
