Need a little bit help

Need a little bit help

Postby Hage » Jun 5th, '12, 22:03

So basically I just starting with making beats, and so far it all sounds pretty dope. The one problem I'm continuously facing at the moment is that the parts I create in the beat don't flow over in eachother very smooth. Anyone has some tips for that ?

Thanks in advance :y:

Well when i'm making a bar it sounds dope, but as soon as the next bar starts it sounds kinda weird switches not that smooth. Same with the hook the switch just doesn't go smooth in my beat.

Hope you understand it now. :P

well you are probably playing off-key... if the melody does not sound right then you first need to understand music theory to know what are you actually playing.

if thats not it, then you are just having alignment problems. Make sure each sound playing is correctly situated on a 4/4 time scale.

use separate patterns for separate instruments and use the multi track to place them together... idk if any of this helps

if not, then try to do a print screen and paste the picture here so I can tell you what youre doing wrong
