MMLP, SSLP Eminem or Recovery, BME Eminem?

Postby Shady Character » Jan 19th, '13, 11:24

I started listening to Eminem back in 2003. Back then he pretty much ruled everything in the hip h0p industry. . . My first song of him I ever heard was Backstabber. And his last song I have is Numb FT Rihanna. His first 3 albums is freakin sick. UNCOMPARABLE!!! And his last 3 studio albums "Relapse LP" "Recovery LP, and Bad Meets Evil EP" is on a next level. So how can people complain!? A lot of fans complain about his music at the moment and they think he's past his prime and losing his touch. All I got 2 say is that you don't have a clue what RAP is. He is a rap GOD at the moment. I think Recovery was some of his best material. . . This is the first time we heard Eminem come clean, and I like his lightning fast lyrics he records nowadays.
This is what I think:
Eminem started screaming on tracks back in those days, but doing it a lot now. It's because he studied music at a level where he know exactly where to fit in certain elements.
He knows what the game is missing at the moment. With all these mainstream junkies nowadays I can't even listen 2 go0d music anymore.
He's trying to bring battle rap back to the game. Why do you think he signed Slaughterhouse to the Shady family?
Everybody is talking sh!t about his music, but when the Bad Meets Evil EP landed everyone got them a copy and till today I think that project is 1 of his dopest.
Everyone is saying he should collab with more artists, but I agree to disagree, c0z his best work was always done on his own. Check his top 10 track sales if you don't believe me.
Even if you heard the new single of 50 Cent "my life" FT Em, it's DOPE!!! And he's still screaming and sh!t.

Even I scream in certain songs I record. It's called expressing emotion, and with the right timing 2 complete the syllable it does sound dope.

Eminem is at a level in his music where his work is unchallenged!!!
In the song "Cold wind blows" he is actually calling out competition when he say:
"But I swear, you try to diss me I'll slaughter you
I put that on everything, like everyone does with Auto-tune".

Like I said Em is more into battle rap nowadays. And the game needs these kinda sh!t. Not Drake and Chris Brown 50 Cent and French Montana twitter battles!

Anyway sorry 4 the long post guys. I can't wait 4 Eminem's album 2 drop. And I guarantee you it's gonna be a bestseller 4 2013. Even Royce said "I don't think the world is ready 4 that"

MMLP seemed like the most emotional passionate Eminem, with a point to prove and a lot of emotions to express to the world. Recovery seems like a corollary of that.

Not to say SSLP wasn't, but much of SSLP was recycled content.

BME just seems like a satirization of the person he used to be. Good flow, but no real passion.
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

I know BME is a EP and not a studio album. But 4 a EP to go gold is freakin go0d. I would like 2 see EM and 5'9" to do a LP this time. They are the true holders of the throne. I heard Em's new content, and the song with Pink(Here comes the weekend) sounded a lot like the old EM. I kinda missed that about him. I can't wait 4 his next album. I really think it"s gonna be light years ahead of any album recorded and pre recorded for the year

Tadpole sums it up nicely, except the thing he said about SSLP.
