EDIT: I just saw the strictt ame battle. I didn't know he used that punch or I wouldn't have used it. I wrote this the same day we put the thread up so, ehh.. oh well. Just recorded it today.

Spyder had the better written verse. Personals and punches were more hard-hitting, but that doesn't mean Block didn't have a bad verse test-wise. Spyder's was just better written. Block had nice mixing and delivery though. At first I thought Block had the better flow, but then I caught this part:

so what good are '8 eyes' if you didn't 'see it coming'?
block got credentials.. I'm in with the rights..

Block had to use LONG punch-ins to make up for the spaces in between his flow here and it just felt really wrong. It came off as lazy, no matter how good the mixing was. Spyder's flow was more consistent and after the above, it swayed my vote for Spyder.

Spyder won the complexity point because sometimes simpler is better. Block came off as awkward and cringe worthy with his intro/outro (stop with the awkward laughs...), plus Spyder's verse was better written.

Great battle, but Spyder came out on top.

Even if I overlooked it and gave you the flow point, it would've been a tie and Spyder still would've won. He dissed you harder and therefore would've gotten my vote anyway. I'm sorry you feel insulted though.
