Spyder vs Slik

Slik you aint acceptable, ever, never had a credible time
Brings these irrelevant lines and acts like they’re incredible rhymes.
You’ll prolly say I’m fat when I’m jacked and one-seventy-five
So this aint a ‘children’s story’ when I say I’ll take your “head off your spine!”
See we beveled, not on the same level, lyrics aren’t better than mine
Ill make sure you ‘enjoy this fucking’ like a priest with a celibate wife!
You twisted the rules to beat Geno and that shit was poor to watch
So I guess your Australian setting is fitting to say you’re a “Croc!”
But I voted for ya, so don’t feel-hurtin that win, you de-served it
But you are like the ‘Crocodile Hunter’ you’ll get “killed by what you researchin!!”
Thinkin hes perfect someone we worship, I’ll deter him
Cause when we start to look up, the gift from the sky actually be bird shit…
Have him finished fast, when it comes to spittin any division, bitch is last
So when I ‘Service’ him givin him ‘Shells’ this kid is “gettin Gas’ed!!”
Not ‘til I was lookin you up did I realize… you’ve done nothing yet
Build up a rep, actually do something then… maybe you’ll become a vet.

line4 - childrens books usually have faces on the spine
line7+8 - never specified rules against Geno, hes from Australia
line10 - the crocodile hunter was killed by a sting ray he was researching
(and he has researched me for this battle)
line14 - Shell is a Gas station Service
line16 - he reallllyyy wanted to be a Vet

This tool ain’t the sharpest one, that’s the impression that I’ve gotten
What the fuck did you expect? You end your sentences with commas
I’m venting to be honest, I know this beef is boring
But I just want to say "get fucked", and not receive a warning
He’s a boring battle rapper and it really pains the heart
To see the end of every verse when he explains his bars!
I’m spittin’ fire, the victim’s spyder, he’s the weaker option
I ain’t messin’ bro, your breath control, seems to be the problem
So don’t ‘hold your breath’ you’d ‘blow’ a deal – there’s a reason you ain’t got one
Who taught your ass to ride a beat? … That needs to be forgotten
So when you want a lousy feature, you gotta beg to land one
How can you have a name like ‘Spyder’, but not a leg to stand on?
I don’t need to ‘spray’ no bullets, I’ll hurt you worser ways
Cos the fact is all arachnids die with a squirt of surface spray
It hurts to say the new kid won, but we can fight it out again…
So when my reign (rain) is over you can “climb the spout again”!

(3) Punchlines - SliK
(3) Personals - Tie
(2) Multies - SliK
(1) Flow - SliK
(1) Structure - SliK
(1) Vocab/Complex - SliK

Slik - 11
Spyder - 3

Slik won this pretty handily. I didn't see many personals, but when I did, you both had a few here and there so I gave that one a tie. Even if I gave it to Spyder, SliK still would've won. SliK's punchlines were incredibly well executed. He had some obvious Spyder ones like spout one and spider legs, but the way he executed them was powerful. Spyder had some good punches, but they felt generic while SliK's played to diss Spyder.

SliK won the multis pretty handily, although Spyder's first rhyme scheme going for 6 bars was pretty cool. I felt SliK's multis were more consistent and longer and rolled off the tongue better. SliK also gets the flow point because his structure was amazing and every line just was smooth as a baby's ass. Spyder's flow/structure were everywhere on this one, I couldn't grasp it.

SliK gets my vote easily. Great battle. :y:

Not really sure how saying I used a comma at the end of my sentence is a good punch or personal
And saying things about my audio is played, pretty sure people missed my multies cause its chalk full.
Really don't see how he gets punches and personals at all but its cool

I was very impressed by SliK. He took this.

Some of the best "Spyder" punchlines I've heard on this forum, mainly in execution. The "leg to stand on" was executed perfectly. Spyder's "croc hunter" punchline was clever but the "children's book" one was a reach.

Spyder's flow was very choppy due to his long bars. SliK's flow was on point. SliK takes structure for virtually the same reason.

SliK wasily took multis. Unlike Eedee, I didn't like Spyder's first rhyme scheme "credible time/incredible rhyme". Reminded me of lyrical/miracle shit - no joke. On the other hand, SliK's multis were top notch. He's up there with DGAF - with making his rhyming seem effortless. A problem a lot of this forum has, to be honest.

Vocab/Complexity - I don't really like this category. Their vocabulary was pretty similar.

Hmmmm, personals are a bit tougher. The Australian insults were alright punchlines but nothing that hard hitting about being an Aussie. And the "wanting to become a vet" wasn't very hard hitting either. So sorry Spyder, this category goes to SliK as well. He didn't take this category comprehensively but the "sentences with commas" made me laugh. The personal category was more "Spyder were worse" than "SliK's were better".

SliK easily, 11-1
I'm not tryin to be rude, but I sincerely wanna fuck the taste out of your mouth
