Spoonfull - Crosshairs

Postby Sam. » Jun 1st, '14, 22:14

One of the stand out tracks from the Album:Keep The Change LP(Musically). I always wondered what is talking about in this song EXACTLY. Is he telling a story about a single person, or multiple. I know this sounds strange, but, um, I'm not able to figure this one out. The Song is not that damn complicated, but, I've my doubts. Anyone cares to shed a light on this? 'Cuz I'm blanking out.

This is a fantastic song, albeit one of my least favourite songs on Keep The Change (second to Guilty Pleasure, and that's surely obvious why). I've always thought this song was a typical WASP husband criticizing a coloured hippie while accepting that they're both humans.

Coloured hippies in general, I suppose. Makes sense now. A bit harsh at times, passable.

The Guilty Pleasure verse is one of his best verses ever?
