Do you consider someone on the internet a true friend?

umm.. it's quite a different relationship.. i mean everyone has 'real life' n friends in the real life - they meet almost every day, talk and all the shit..

but i guess a lot of people has such 'internet friendships', because some of them feel like it's easier to tell about problems and feelings.. for me it's a bit easier to talk throught the internet.. i've got let's say 'normal' friends out there, but i rarely talk about my own feelings and problems face to face.. maybe because i'm usually careless and chilled and i'm not used to talk about the wat i feel in public. plus i prefer to solve my problems on my own.

it's hard to explain why sometimes we feel like the person on the other side of the cable could be your friend, but i believe it's possible.. maybe not a real, real friend, but you know.. someone who you can always talk to and so on.. blah blah blah :shifty:

i would consider some prople from the internet as 'friends' maybe but not true friends

but you get what i mean. i can never picture myself giving up my life for someone i only know through the net. that's just insane to me.

it's not what i meant. my point of view is like they're people who i can always talk to. and they can always talk to me if they need to. it's not about real friendship... i guess it's more like being good pals.. hope u know what i mean.. lol :sweating:

maybe because there's no one at the moment who i'd die for [except my family]. i ain't got THAT close friends, cuz i don't trust people that much.. i don't know why, maybe because i've seen too much shit in my life, even between best friends.. may seem strange for you, but i'm quite pleased with it :happy:

i know there are ppl who would support me if i needed and they know that i'd support them too. and that's all at the moment..

Yeah, there are a couple of people I do. I think some of your are lying to "fit in" with the crowd. If one of my "internet friends" backstabs me, I take it personal. They're people just like you.
