alright i just wanted to know whats the fearthes u can go (in age) like if a 12 yo is dating a 16 yo is that to far apart?

some people use some complex fucked up forumula but generally a 2 year gap at most seems to be standard.....thats what most people follow round here anyway, so no 16 yo and 12 yo is a lil fucked up,

wen ur older though a 4 year gap is nothing

12 is more like a kid than a teenager, so yes, it's far apart.

when you get older, let's say 20 and 24, 4 years doesn't seem that much.

I think there is something like half your age plus 7, something like that. Makes sense if you look at diff ages.

i'm 18, so while dating someone more than 10 months younger than me is legally wrong, i would morally go as low as 16. once i hit 19 i go as low as 17. hit 20 and everyone 18 n over is fair game

it's all on the maturity level really. the first 16 years of your life has rapid maturity changes. an 8 year old is typically more mature than a 6 year old, yet a 20 year old can just as easily be more mature than a 22 year old.

Too far for a 12 year old I have seen some that are like little short kids and others like full tall, developed teenagers. The preteens have to be more careful. The Babies having Babies trend; more carelessness involved. they should be monitored if allowed to date , that is too young. The 16 year, is ok; more mature as a teen and in high school by this time. The 12 year old is still in Junior high even. Slow down, adult hood is a pain-lol There is plenty time to date. Imagine, prom years, college, parties, marriage. Not 12 years old.

When I was senior in high school a kid on my bball team dated this freshman, who was 14, and he was 18. She looked like she was 18 though, so I mean, it's weird when you look at the number, but looking at her I'd of done the same thing.

The furthest I have gone which was kinda weird at first but then got use to it was 21 & 17 just turning 18. The maturity level is so much different at a younger age.
