I don't know...I've been working on singing lately, and am eventually going to focus a little more on that. The whole rap thing is getting played out--the stigma attached to the genre makes it hard to say "I rap" and still take yourself seriously. I know that most of you don't feel that way, and that's good, but I have found that the creativity in this genre has grown stagnant, and that I might be able to better represent myself artistically by moving into another genre. Luckily, having rapped for years now, I can write songs at very least twice as fast as the average songwriter in most other genres.

I rarely sing on hooks unless it floes with the beat but singing bores me, i would lose the desire for it quickly, rap keeps me hungry, there's soo much more you can do with rap, be more creative

this. i'd rather write a rap verse than a chorus to a song. you cant really use multis or do anything complex when ur writing as a singer. when you write as a rapper the possibilities are endless.
