Why can't whites be offended? We can't be held accountable for our ancesstors. Though we arn't very offended by racist remarks against our race most of the time, theres no reason to say we arn't in any position to be.

Though it's not like race's are badley opressed in the US anyway. I'm not denying there's racism, but it's still not like they're opressed.

The only situation I know I'd be offended is if I were going through a black-dominant nieghboorhood, and was called a cracker. Which has happened and though I don't give a shit, I can see some people taking that offensivley.

Nah im not saying it currently is, but i understand wat people that were opressed must feel. There should be no "black-dominant" neighbourhood in the first place, coz thats the direct result of class(class is assosiated with race quite often) and opression strugle, and thats the main reason such racist words are still relevant.

I live in Holland, but I come from Afghanistan, soo yeah...there are not many racists here( ), but there are some....specially after the twin towers things got a bit weird , like i was the one in that plane

If I said cracker, Jew, Chink or any other word apart from "nigger" no-one would care. I'd most likely get banned for saying "nigger" in a hostile manner, but if I said "cracker" in a hostile manner, it wouldn't be such a big deal. It's stupid.

I'm Native American and I think it's hilarious watching White and Blacks bitch about each other all the time, because I hang out with white and blacks and I'm cool with everybody in my school. To all you white people bitchin' about blacks bein able to say cracker to ya and no fuss being produced over it, it's ya'lls fault that this is goin on today because if ya got mad and fought when Blacks say that just like when Whites say nigger. This problem would not be because Blacks would know they would have to fight if they said that, just like whites do when they say nigger.
