Yes we have had a huge increase in natural disaster.. but the government has also been fucking with the weather and HAARP shit that can cause earthquakes. My bet is if the world is gonna end it will be mankinds fault. The government needs to stop fucking with the natural flow of stuff.

Basically the date was just an interesting number for the way their calender worked so they chose it as the last day, something like that. And she actually read us some interviews that Mayans descendants alive today don't believe that the world is ending, so why should anyone else?

Exactly, it had to stop sometime. They would still be writing it for it not to have an ending yet, if it ended sometimes in 2014 it would be the same shit only with a different time.

And if I’m not mistaken people don’t know jack shit about how it actually ends, but after watching the movie, (which was only an idea to make a cool plot) they get scared when seeing earthquakes and natural disasters happen. Because that’s how it starts in the movie. So they automatically assume that that’s the way "the end" is predicted. When it in fact is not written anywhere how it actually happens. (Correct me if I’m wrong here)
