If you want to use DXM then as Just Silver said make sure that it's the only active igredient. You can also pick it out from the syrup(if you are afraid to drink it with other ingredients) , just google how to do this. Also pay attention that you dont use any medicine with monoamine oxidase inhibitors - you may just die. Scary as fuck, i know. And if you finally decided to drink it, remember that everything that happens with you is normal things. The most popular problem is a feeling of death. If you feel that you will die in 10 seconds - its normal, you wont die. Just keep it in mind and avoid any panic.

Cause you never was higher than 1st plateau. Since the 3rd plateau things are much more different. 4th and sigma are very rude stages.

The word "pleasant" doesnt fit here. With each plateau you go deeper and deeper. 3rd is when some mental shit starts to appear and you can feel uncomfortable with this, whereas the 1st and 2nd are just light experience of physical changes. DXM itself is not a "good trip" type of drug, its a "bad trip" type. Some people are afraid of DXM, because they cant accept this fact. I agree with this, because effect is very heavy. But you do things right with starting from 1st plateau, slightly going to another one. When you do like this - you will finally feel one time that you are ready for more.

I can't speak on DXM because I've never taken it, but it's typically a bad idea to take too little when it comes to bad trips. You should almost always take enough to fully overwhelm you. Otherwise you have 1 foot in each door and you can partially fight the experience. Which ultimately ruins it all together.

Yes. Careful preparation is the main key to success in terms of trips. If you are prepared good then the half of "negative" effects wont bother you, and you can focus on a trip itself and not on possible problems such as feeling of death and shiver. You will experience it someday, not once, not twice, much more, but at least you will be able to handle it. If you confident of handling the 3rd plateau then just do it. It's really depends on how you feel, and if you feel so, why not to try already?

No, man. DXM is a heavy thing. And if you want to beat all the shit out of it, you should to start with a little proportions, cause if you not - you probably will never take it again. You should be mentally ready for this type of experience.

What I said applies to almost any psychedelic. But terrance was specifically talking about psilocybin (4-ho-DMT). There's nothing worse than a bad psilocin trip, since it unplugs your perception of time. You're stuck in a seemingly endless loop of horror.

The way you describe DXM, I wouldn't dare take too little.

You dont get what Im saying. With DXM, if you'll take too much for the first time there will be this endless loop of horror, no matter what - it will be the bad trip for you. Thats a fact. Most people who tried this has never taken it again, because they stucks on this bad trip and think this will happen everytime they take it.But the funny moment is that it is not a bad trip at all.It is what it is. They just dont get it. And I think its improper to compare it with psilocybin. DXM is a dissociative drug. Completely different things.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to overdo a dissociative like DXM, personally. I have had bad experiences from overdoing the dosage on psilocibin as well though, so I think careful preparation is key with whatever you're doing.

I've only had one dissociative experience, and it isn't something I care to repeat. Not my cup of tea.
