Holy fucking shit, did I just read SKIP BREAKFAST?

Breakfast is the most important thing in the day. Don't eat breakfast (aka your main source of energy for the whole day) and you are ruined.

Also it's the first time I hear someone saying don't eat protein before bed. Protein is one of the best things you can have before bed (a whey shake for example). Never go to bed with an empty stomach, but also take it easy on the carbs at night because those are the ones that turn into fat easily, specially if you are not working out.
--------------

Here's the best tip about becoming fit and healthy: eat a lot. Just learn to eat good. Eat a bunch of small meals, and make sure that protein and fiber are your number one nutrients. Fat is also good (good fat, like peanuts). Try to avoid sugars if you can (your sugar should come from a fruit or two a day), and eat good carbs.

Also drink shitloads of water and exercise.

THANK YOU!! :worship: For backing up what I was trying to say. I was getting sick of arguing. I just gave up. Hopefully he'll read ALL of this & get a quick lesson in nutrition. Some people are just ignorant. :facepalm

Wow, all this weight loss for nothing.
Yesterday I had my first wrestling practice, the head coach told me not to cut any weight, because I would be taking the Varsity 285 weight-class spot instead of 215. I'll still probably lose some weight, but now I'm not as pressured to do it in a short time.
Lots of great tips here though!

@Beak

are you calling me ignorant because i have a different opinion? :facepalm

@Omega, i still dont agree with the whole eat protein before bed, im certain your body wont digest anything before bed properly so it will be stored as fat, and protein stored wrong is a lot of fat.
sure he can have breakfast, but like i said fats and proteins only, like bacon and eggs is prime.

i dont see why going to bed on an empty stomach is bad but ok...

yes six small meals a day is ideal but most people dont have the opportunity to do this.
they should be smaller than any meal your eating now, maybe the size of breakfast, one meal
should be just a salad with dark greens. these are almost pure water. no dressing, just olive oil

and if you wanna snack, hope you like celery, you lose weight eating it :y:

Not ignorant because of different opinion. Ignorant of the facts that me & @Omega spoke of. It's fine to have a different opinion, but don't lose sight of the facts. Fact is, what me & @Omega were sayin is scientific fact. Protein as in a "weight gainer" will add some fat because high calorie, high fat, and high carbs, but protein does not store fat. Protein builds muscle, helps recovery, boost energy, boost immune system, and burns fat if used properly with the right amount of calories, fat, carbs, etc. And going to bed on an empty stomach, like I said puts your body in a catabolic state. That's why you shouldn't go to bed on an empty stomach cause your gonna break down muscle.
