What if i were to say i have had communications with the spirit world Eminembase? What if i were to tell you that there is a book written in 1932 that perfectly sums up (almost) everything religious about me. Not one made to persuade atheists. Not one made to make profit. Just a book that has the most extensive and intricate spiritual undertakings i believe. Would you read it? If you would....

I would say that I don't believe there is a spirit world and that I believe you're mistaken.

As for whether I'd read that book... depends on what the book contains. If it's a book of anecdotes and descriptive writing and stories... that's meaningless to me. In terms of if making me believe in a spirit world exists or changing my perspective one iota, so unless it has some kind of tangible record of experiments or real-world evidence... seems like it'd be a pretty tedious read!

Its got a personal anecdote of how the person got into contact with said spirits (which is quite long) then goes into a section which has real world examples and experiments done on clairvoyance and mediumistic powers (not too long) then a section which looks at what the spirit world said to him.

It's amazing how people will deny their own eyes just to not feel outkasted by what the official story says, so they don't feel stupid and lumped with 'nuts'.

This thread went from a tribute to EminemBase, to a tribute to American excellence in engineering and/or world-changing trickery.

I like to read EminemBase's posts because I agree with his opinions . It's like reading your own opinion in a well-crafted manner for me. I wish English was my native language so i could write like him.
