What they did is totally on point... I went to NY 3 months after the attacks & everything was still totally tragic.

Them dudes were always crazy but they came salty on this one. The only funny thing was at 3:20... We're all living in America, Cola-Cola... sometimes war.

"Hey Joe" was deemed inappropriate? :confusion:
"America...just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable" — Hunter S. Thompson

They've probably wanted to avoid any kind of drama to be honest... like I said earlier I support that 'cuz what happened there was totally horrible. Words can never describe it to be honest.

Oh yeah, I understand the motivation for some of the songs. Not saying I necessarily agree with it, but I get it. When you have anti-establishment songs, or songs that might be considered unpatriotic, I can see where they might think it's a bad idea to play them. Even overly-violent songs...

But "Hey Joe" is basically a blues song, with a dash of really slow classic rock. Granted, Joe shoots his wife, but it's not even descriptive, or emotionally stirring. It's just an odd choice, considering how old it was at the time and how tame the lyrics were.

What a ridiculous concept.

For the apparent land of Freespeech, America is actually one of the more censor-heavy and sand-in-vagina-esque countries in the western world.

Europe seem to be far more open with criticism.

America pretend to be okay with freespeech, but really they're just okay with speech that caters to the system and their ideals of life. I'm speaking of 'they' as the assholes of the Whitehouse and the many retarded groups that influence the underbelly of US entertainment mind you. Not the public.

Shamefully, I agree with that. Heck, looks how long it took for women to obtain voting rights (1920) and for African Americans to be considered equal.

That being said, I doubt any Americans besides Clear Channel Communications thought this was a good idea.

I know what you're saying... I think they didn't even consider all that like that but just cut off whatever just to avoid any kind of potential backlash or whatever.
