Waking up early

Postby Chalky » Aug 18th, '14, 05:15

I wonder how many of you fellow TR shady members have a hard time waking up early, this morning i tried waking up early to make breakfast, i set my alarm at 6:30 AM & as soon I heard that timer go off, I went to the bathroom etc, and then all of the sudden i just crashed right back on the couch, I wasn't working last night or doing anything to make me super tired, i'm just not the type of person that gets up, why is that?

How many of you have this problem and how do i solve this.

Oh wow, 6:30 is hard enough but 5:30 my bed time would probably about 4 in the afternoon if i had those hours. lol

Yeah. It's about consistency really. I generally wake up about 9am but I found that if I force myself to get up like around 5:30 for as little two days my internal clock kinda changes and goes along with that.

I'm up at 7:00am Monday to Friday for work, start work at 8:30am and finish at 4:30pm
I've done this for 14 years since I've been working and obviously did the same for school so it's routine for me
I try and go to bed between 10-11pm any later than 11pm I'm tired the next day

Not for everybody, I know people who wake up perfectly fresh.

I HATE to wake up early. I'm like a zombie at the first hour, I can't even eat breakfast. I walk to the shower like a duck...It must run in my family, my brother is even worse.

And if I don't sleep in my house when I first wake up I literally don't know where I am...

I have a really hard time getting up in the morning for work, yeah. My alarm goes off at 5:30am and I hit snooze for an hour. Getting up at 6:30am is pushing it.. but I do it every day anyway lol. I used to be out of the house by 6:30am when I lived at home, I live closer to work now which is why I sleep an extra hour.
I'm a zombie for the first half hour or so.

haha I do the same sometimes. I put my alarm one hour before and turn it off a few times....it annoys the hell out of my bf.

I'm up for 2 hours now, and still a zombie...

My sleep schedule is usually all over the place.
I usually stay up late though. I'm in my 4 am phase right now.
