I've been into Seether a lot lately. Their new CD just came out "Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces" and it's actually pretty good. Not all people are going to like it, but I sure do. Then again I've always been a fan of rock music, lol.

Some other rock bands I listen to include: Disturbed, Staind, a little Limp Bizkit. Whatever, lol.

I listen to Rock but not a fan of any particular band/artist ... as mentioned Seether are great, some songs by a band called Creed are amazing (one last breath and with arms wide open are incredible).

Check them out bar and tell me what you think.

The greatest rock album of all time, this is what got me into rock/metal back in 1987. If you want to check something out this is where you should start, it's still as fresh and kicking as much ass as the day it came out. :worship:

Some info from wikipedia:

Appetite for Destruction is the 1987 debut album from Los Angeles-based hard rock band Guns N' Roses, which combined elements of heavy metal, punk rock, and blues-rock. The album was a #1 American hit and is certified 15x Platinum.[2] Worldwide sales exceed 26 million. It is the fourth best-selling debut album of all-time in the U.S

Legacy

The album is among the best selling albums in history; at least 15 million copies were sold in the United States alone. It is also the second best-selling debut album of all time. However, one year after it was released in 1987, the album had sold only 500,000 copies.

Achievements

In 1989 Rolling Stone ranked Appetite for Destruction as the 27th best album of the 1980s. The same magazine later ranked it at sixty-one on their list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.[6] In 2001, Q magazine named Appetite for Destruction as one of the 50 Heaviest Albums of All Time.[7] In 2003, VH1 named Appetite for Destruction the 42nd Greatest Album of All Time.[8] It was ranked 18 in Spin's "100 Greatest Albums, 1985-2005".[9] Kerrang! magazine recently compiled a 100 Greatest Rock Albums Ever list of which Appetite for Destruction was ranked #1.[10]

Rolling Stone recently devoted their cover to the album's 20th Anniversary, July 2007

Yeah man, it's fuckin deadly!

@Bar (who hasn't even checked back to see his recommendations, cunt!) You should also check out Metallica's - ....And Justice For All. The lyrics and music are top fuckin notch. I haven't the time right now to give it the same as I did for Appetite above, but you should find it easily enough.
