anywae as far back i know there was a david barlcay who worked as a docter in america, who then moved to france and raised a family there, the name was prounounced "BarKhley" was spelt "Barcley" then one of there sons or some shit moved to scotland and through time (coz of the scottish accent) the name changed to "barclay" getting prounounced how it looks/

on my mothers side, its simply from ireland to scotland and thats that.


and my immediate family is my mum born in scotland dad born in south africa.


so as far as i know Barclay originated in America and was most likely a Jewish family at one point, David is a jewish name and for some reason there were always atleast one David in every generation.

My family name is actually a city, ''Hammana'' is located on the west of Lebanon.
My grandpa once said that my ancestors came from lebanon, and had some kind of high status, that's why the city is still named after my family name...

The word "Hammana" may have come from the name of the Phoenician Sun God "Hammon" or "Hamman"( german soccer player lol ). These two names are derived from the word "Hama" which means heat of the sun in arabic.

So one of my ancestors was digging the ancient Egyptian Gods, and took the name of ''sungod'', after a couple of generations my family ended up in Lebanon and decided to stay at a little place in the mountains of Lebanon..... Well I guess that's were my family name orginated from..... Way back when the Egyptians stills were building pyramids, one person decided to name himself after the ''sungod''.. I wonder why, perhaps he had a reason, perhaps not...... well anyway that's my family name's origin..

My dad is from Italy.. born and raised until he moved here when he was 15.

My mom is from Iran.. moved here when she was in her 20s? Shes not actually persian though.. her ancestors are from Europe around the Austria area so she doesn't have the dark skin.

Some how they met up got married and settled in Ohio.. kinda weird .. you never think oh I'm gonna move to Ohio when I get older and marry a persian lady but thats how it went ya dig.. made me the pimp I am today.
