Yeah I think it's pointless too, but can't hate liking someone, opinions on music are rough for everyone on here it seems lol

Yeah, I'm not sure if EminemBase thinks TR is like a missionary or something, because converting people to Stanism is harder than it looks.

Listen to ''broken wings'' and ''hiatus'' when Budden is hungry, he's a beast! He's been putting out throwaway tracks for the past few months and there all fire.

Hopefully we see a collab between them, and btw, Buddens metaphores are better than Ems, hell has Em even got any proper metaphores?!

His metaphors aren't better than Em's.

Do you just mean recently? Because Em hasn't been spitting metaphors properly for years. Because 02-06 he was all personal and lately he's been literal and descriptive.

But if you're talking PERIOD I think you're nuts. And of course Em has fucking metaphors lmao. Em's best metaphors shit over Budden's.

What metaphores has Em got though?? Joeys metaphore about comparing marriage to hiphop in ''borken wings'' beats any metaphore ive heard from Em, dude has a shit load of metaphores, I remember seeing a thread on here about ''your favorite Em metaphore'' and not one quote on there was an actual metaphore

Em's metaphors were in his early years. Mostly on Infinite and around 99. Because he used to spit metaphors and battle-lyrics when coming up to get attention. Not use them for his main material like Budden.

Even Infinite metaphors shit on any of Budden's

"I'll run your brain around the block to jog your fucking memory"

"You couldn't make the crowd throw up their hands if they swallowed their fingers"

"Simple as ABC's, skip over the D's and rock the microphone with E's"

"He better come cleaner then Jay Rue jacking off when he showers"

"Cause you can be quick, jump the candlestick, burn your back and fuck Jill on a hill, but you still ain't Jack"

All of those beat anything that's come out of Budden's mouth. But beyond that, Em uses mostly ironic, subversive punchlines. Things such as...

"I never grew up, I was born grown and grew down"

Just infinitely more witty, poetic and lyrical than Budden.

@Relapse. LP, fuck off you cunt. Yes I do think Eminem is the best. But I have my reasons for it and I'm stating them in a discusssssiooon. If you don't like the fact I won't just bow down and agree with you, tuff shit.

I have my reasons like you have YOUR reasons for thinking he isn't the best. So respect apposing opinion and stop acting like anyone who thinks Em is the best is a stan. You piece of shit.

...Awaits pathetic response which will emphasize my overuse of capitalization, my post length (most likely because too many words make Relapse.LP's head hurt) and some lame generalization of my thought process. Followed by a 'smh' :coffee:

Juxtaposing opinions? I was under the impression we have conflicting opinions. :coffee:

Also, you forgot a 's' after opinion. Incorrect usage of English grammar, my furry friend. :'(

you see man id count the majority of those punchlines

''Trying check the time on a clock with no hands''

The tsunami came through my hood in nine six
And tried to murder dog,
I took a little dive
Then I got on my surfin board and kept slidin'
Feel like A-Rod, some say his time's up
Boo a nigga at home, yup I'm in my prime But
he by far the best player on the team
And then turn around, drop 'em to the bottom of the lineup
Should get traded, but he don't wanna move
'Cause this the only city he got somethin' to prove
And that's why I'm seen with heaters
'Cause you can't be the man when you on the same team as Jeter Ya dig
it's like the game ain't gettin' suitable
Makin' me so sick I need Chicken Noodle Soup
Rappers flyin' high, then got suicidal
Imitate Jim Jones, end up like Cory Lidle
I married hip hop, ignored what some was tellin' me
I started hearin' rumors of infidelity,
I ain't divorce 'er
All the other dudes is so wack that I aint even feel a little jealousy

That verse for me has better metaphores than any Em track ive heard
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

"You couldn't make the crowd throw up their hands if they swallowed their fingers"

thats classic em right there. We need more lines like this!!! Instead of a metephor about gutting a bitch

of course Em has metaphors in his rhymes. I dont sit there and count them tho, I just like it if it sounds good.

Eminem has always been the king of worldplay in his rhymes though, metaphor or not.

Saying that is total bullshit.

So there we have it. I think Em's metaphors shit on Budden's. You don't.

I'm not going to be moved on that position. Neither are you. Lets move on shall we since this is pretty fucking pointless.

As usual you intervene a normal discussion, analyze my post and add non-stop fucking SMH'S x 50. Are you just in love with that bent little phrase. Fuck me sideways.

Okay then, bye bye now.

wow this thread blew up

alot to comment on ok

someone mentioned eminem not being on his lyrical game right now, i beg to differ, his rhyme schemes and flow has went crazy dope. he hasnt had a need of punches really but he hasnt done any worse than he has done since MMLP coz on his albums he just hasnt needed punchlines hes not that type of rapper, he hasnt beefed since he was back and he doesnt flow random punches that arent aimed at anyone, if he beefs we'll then get the punches we want form him. Music box is a f'ing crazy metaphorical masterpeice imo.

i already stated im talking about a straight up lyrical track. so debates on emotional tracks is pointless.

and if you know lyrcism royce has outshined ehm in his prime. you cant say "but that wasnt his prime his prime is coming" coz know one knows when your prime comes, so to date his prime was way back.

This is not a normal discussion. This is an argument between a Stan and a member of TR.

Why respond normally to a Stan when you have to wait 10 mn for an essay response? :flutter:

Yawn. Again with the stan. You really are a sheep.

All you can do is evade true debate by calling anybody who defends Eminem a stan and adding 'smh's' as if you're above it. Let me tell you something you drone. You ain't above any of it. You're a fool. Your opinion on hip-hop is as useless as a nun in a brothel.

And again, I listen to as much other hip-hop as Eminem. I listen to the genre, not Eminem. Eminem is just one of my favourite and since I'm on an Eminem forum and am an Eminem fan, I will obviously defend him if I think he's the best. You cock.

I don't dress like Eminem. I don't talk like Eminem. I don't act like Eminem. I don't just listen to Eminem. I don't blindly defend Eminem. I defend Eminem OBJEEECTIVELY. Therefore = not stan.

You only have that word thanks to Eminem and if you weren't such a lame Eminem-obsessive fuck yourself, you wouldn't of spent so long of your life on an Eminem forum and wouldn't be using a word invented by the man himself to describe something because your limited brain is too stupid to be original.

Try some individuality. You might like it. Smile for the camera: SHEEP. Baaaa.
