I think you can update to Windows 7 if you got xp with sp3.

What do you mean? All you do is put the CD in, choose what drive to install it on and yeah.

It's best if you have 2 drives if you want to keep all of your old XP stuff on one then Windows 7 on the other. Then just transfer XP stuff if you like Windows 7

Angie,

when solace speaks of drives he is talking about a extra hard drive(you have to buy). one hard drive with windows xp and the other one with windows 7. you don't have to buy windows 7 , just use torrent^,download and install.
Sometimes I stay up so late that I have my morning coffee before I go to bed

Yeah !! Do install it !

Its Miles Ahead of Vista in terms of Performance ( As shown in the tons of online hardware tests)

Expect to get even more performance with the upcoming service packs :)
