well, my story is a bit longer
the first song I heard from him and liked was Cleaning Out My Closet, I was 13. I wanted a classmate to copie TES for me, but he never did and all I got was a tape with the poorest quialty you can think of - so I never listend to it
a year later my mom bought me MMLP and I was like: yeah, nice somehow...
I even was in 8 Mile without noticing that he was in it - but I was actually the only one in cinema watching the movie (well, there were not even ten people in it)

then in '04 my computer was ready to download music finally
and when When I'm Gone hit the stores I downloaded SSLP (didn't like it at all), TES (was great to me) and Encore (was real good to me) but I didn't called myself a fan yet

it was also in '05 when I bought "Eminem - Whatever you say I am" by Anthony Bozza. I was so shocked that store had it, I stood there a couple of minutes just staring at this book I was so exited and read it even during school and one year later I used the chance to write a homework about Eminem. then I couldn't deny it anymore, that I'm a fan (I don't like the term fan)
