the way I always took it was that at the end of Encore he killed "Slim Shady" "put it to my brain, scream die shady and pop it", I think he was implying he had to stop being Slim Shady/Eminem because he needed a break.

then "Relapse", obviously being the RELAPSE of SLIM SHADY.
Slim Shady being the voice in "My Darling" & "Dr West" and also at the start of the Slim Shady EP, I think the "see you in hell fuckers" was him just being funny but then again thats opinion.

There was also that other theory I seen about Relapse's songs being the 12 steps of Rehab or something. It makes Relapse seem like much more than just some crazy horror core album.

That would make sense if there wasnt 15 songs but 12 on there.
I just think it is a crazy horrorcore album with Em trying to show of that he still has that crazy rhyme technique and increible talent even though he's been away from the game for 5 years.
Nah, it made perfect sense.
Crack A Bottle was the celebration, and Underground was the rebirth of the old Em coming out of Rehab.
You'd have to find it and read the whole thing to understand.
