This is just a sad joke.... Eminem obviously did fall off at one point, theres no debating that and I don't think anybody thinks he's back to his prime and probably won't ever be. Royce on the other hand is at his pinnacle right at this moment. Just because he's not selling records and all over the radio does not mean he fell off.

A sad joke or a sad reality? Don't want to derail the thread but I'll entertain your argument via Pm if you insist.

I'm curious too, so do so publicly, please.

From the quotes, it seems like Royce wont be on R2. I mean, to say, when asked if they would work together, "I want him to release Relapse 2 first" makes it sound as if they haven't made any tracks yet. Which is a fucking shame cus there probably the two best in the game right now. I guess they'll make music after R2 which is at least some good news.

They have such good chemistry it'd be such a shame if they never made more tracks.

Why do you believe this? Have you heard Street Hop? Cus on that album, despite changing his style, he pulled of an album that was as good as anything released in 2009. His Bar Exam mixtapes are of the highest quality and his freestyles over used beats are incredible. Just becuase he's not signed to a major label or releasing albums that get to No. 1 doesnt mean he fell off.

So please tell me why you think he fell off? Please.

Yep. Unfortunately he 99% will be on there

As will Dre and D12. 3 wasted tracks.

that's just depressing :facepalm
I wish Em could be more conscious with his songs choice, I mean those tracks have potential to ruin the classic album.

The Dre track could be good if they have a good concept but the D12 song will be crap - without Proof D12 are a bit of a joke really.

well a concept track could work, at least Dre knows how to flow, unlike Bizzare, I know I will have to skip the song once his verse starts.

No that's bullshit. Em never fell off. He got bored, lazy and overworked. But MOSH is not falling off. Encore wasn't as good as the previous albums but he in no way fell off.

And in terms of pure lyricism, he's back better than ever. And R2 will probably be his new peak. Em took a break, he didn't fall off and he's not 'off' now. He's very much on.

sorry but I'm confused, if his later albums are not as good as the previous, of course that's call falling off right  If he did not fell off, he would still give us amazing albums right.

ok I think he did fell off at one point BUT unlike most people, he had reasons for his fall-off (drugs mostly), that's why I think he can get up and that's why R2 will be a classic

The problem with having 50 Cent on the album is that it'll be a "yo, yo gangsta" track, and usually Em doesn't shine with his normal strenght on them. Crack a Bottle worked for Relapse though.
Norway, blah, blah, murder, blah, blah, blood.

No I disagree. Falling off isn't dipping in quality wise slightly.

Falling off to me is selling out, losing your integrity, purposely changing your image and objectives to a very strong degree for the wrong reasons.

He did none of the above. He was the same guy, he still said what he wanted, he exercised in artistic freedom - In fact more so, he put out a very vocal challenge to the president at large. He in no way fell off. He didn't put as much effort in, sure, he wasn't as good, sure. But that's not falling off IMO.

People can't just keep getting better FOREVER. Everybody has dips and peaks.

we definitely has different view in falling off then. To me fall-off and sell-out are completely different. Fall-off to me is that you are not as good as you were before ( not just slightly, but a big gap quality). Em was never a sell-out though.

Even though they probably have recorded a bunch of songs by now, if they don't give some info or details about what they work on it's old news. I just can't wait to hear a song with Em and SH though, that'd be a lyrical madness.

Slaughterhouse are good and all but I want Em and Royce only. Everysong they did was made in heaven. Not one poor track. They had such great chemistry.
