Came out in 2004, then he would take a 5 year break, then release Encore as his comeback album in 2009, would you stop listening to him then?

Oh and let's say he was on drugs while making Relapse & sober while making Encore.

lol j/k I understand what you meant, I really don't know but he would probably be seen as a sell out or something since Encore is like his most poppy album.
Anyway I'm curious what was everyone's reaction about that Smack That song with Akon? Did people see him as sell-out at that time?

i mean he got asked to do a song with akon...and he was huge back then, why not!

But thing is he always make fun of 'pop people' & he don't wanna be grouped with them, and I'm sure he refused to do a lot of collabs with pop artists in the past too.
