To be a genious doesn't mean to be intelliget!! And intelligent is very "big" termin!!!
But anyway, i think Em is dumb, (don't get me wrong - he's a genious), but i'm sure he has a lettel knowlige!!! I'm sure he didn't know about a big part of the countries that he went, he doesn't speak any other language (but that doesn't count, he's american, and for americans to speak a other language means that you're the smarter guy ever), aslo i'm sure he isn't verry inquisitive about thinks etc.
But agan... HE IS A GENIOUS.He smart for a statistic american but for the rest of the word (not the 3rd word) he's not so smart.

Why is it people associate intelligence with being able to read books, memorize what it says for a short period of time, take a test and then forget it.

Even in the UK people who are generally good at school work and get consistently high grades throughout get considered to be intelligent, yet when I have a conversation with them about the topics they score so highly when it comes to exams, they know ONLY what is in a book that they've read, talk to them about anything else and they don't care.

Most people read the stuff they need to, pass a test and don't care. It's the people who pick something they're good at and try to learn as much as they can relating to their chosen subject that I consider to be intelligent. Sure I know loads of random facts and figures, my head is annoying like that and remembers random shit, but at the end of the day the only thing I'd say I'm intelligent about for the most part is computers although I do have other general knowlegde.

Now if you can honestly tell me that you think Eminem is dumb because he didn't pass High School (which was most probably due to a lack of trying) then you're being seriously misled.

GCSE's / Whatever grading system is used in America isn't the be all and end all of the world. People are clever in their own ways you don't have to know everything to be intelligent.

For sure he is not dumb, but also he isn't very very intelligent. He don't know which is capital city of China(time westwood interview). But almost all americans doesn't know anything execpt they country.
