Lock, put yourself in the shoes of a mature adult, not a middle schooler smoking weed in the boy's room.

The guy who said this is a stupid and corny song for him to make at this age, seriously WTF

If he was making any of the music from SSLP or MMlP at the age of 40, THAT would be embarassing, at almost the age of 40 this is the kind of music he should be making. Nobody wants to hear a middle aged man rap about killing people it would just be childish now

I don't think Beautiful was forced at all. In my opinion it's a masterpiece and maybe my favorite Em song. I do agree that something is missing from Not Afraid even though I like it alot.

I'm skeptical about being skeptical about Recovery.

Joe Budden has heard the album and says its amazing, that's all the reassurance I need. He isn't one to compliment a rapper, usually he says they suck, he can out rap them, etc.

I bet Em only made it the first single because of the promise he made to the fans in it. He wanted that to be heard first.
Now that that's out of the way, let's wait and see what he does next.
Believe me, with his array of producers, no two songs will sound the same.

i hope you're right... the next single will probably be the "decider" for me when it comes down to being skeptical or not

is it possible eminem isn't being corny? Is it possible that he actually feels the lyrics he's writing? Or that he wants the chorus and bridge to sound like that? I mean this is like the first album that he's made completely sober..(I'm assuming he was on some shit back in MMLP, SSLP days, just not as bad).. So maybe we are starting to see the real him coming through.. And all you guys are like "oh the verses are sweet, but I don't like the hook/bridge, so I can't bump that shit", fucking man up. If your worried what somebody next to you in a car is gonna think when they hear the song your playing, then your a little punk ass bitch.

Wasnt Relapse made while he was sober? I thought i remember him saying that Beautiful was the only track he dropped on Relapse with lyrics that were written while he was still in rehab.

he said in a few interviews, that he was still "coming out" of his addiction whatever that means while he was making relapse, so I guess you could count it either way..
