Of course this becomes a religious debate. Personally I'd rather him not talk about religion in his songs. Don't think it'd suit him and it wouldn't turn out that great, he's not that kind of rapper.

Hes been rocking the cross in all his public apperances/performances for like last year or so.

That doesn't necessarily make you a Christian though. The cross is a popular piece of jewellery to sport in general. Just because of the way it's stapled itself into history.

And a cross (although generally considered a symbol of Christianity) is officially more a symbol of a Roman execution method than it is of the idea specifically of the myth of Christ.

Either way, I'm not questioning that Em is one. I think it's pretty obvious from some (although very rare) of his lyrics and the fact he prays before each live show that he is. Just throwing some debate on the cross thing.

and to EminemBase: I used to be non-believer but as my life has changed into different directions I started to look for something that I miss. I got that by believeing and I could even say my life is easier than before. Anyway, I don't like this lack of respect and faith in you, but that's just me I guess.

I was going to post an actual response but too much whining by a certain somebody, mr. all-knowing. No but seriously if that's what he believes that's what he believes. The fact that someone cares about others religious beliefs just shows how insecure you are about your own beliefs. I honestly don't care as long as good music comes out of it. I'm a fan of good music period, someones beliefs has no bearing on the quality of music one makes.

Nope. I'm perfectly comfortable with my beliefs (or lack-thereof). The only reason I'm actively anti-religion is because I'm pro-logic. This world would be a much safer and more pleasant place if religious people were simply replaced with logical, rational, reasonable people.

Imagine no suicide bombers, no 9/11, no 7/7, no Crusades, no witch-hunts, no Gunpowder Plot, no Kashmir dispute, no Indo/Pakistan partition, no Israel/Palestine wars, no Serb/Croat/Muslim massacres, no Northern Ireland 'troubles'.
