if a person cannot fully make a career out of their music alive, instead they die during that span, no one can make comparison, it is completely stupid and will always be inaccurate.

I say that neither Tupac or Biggie are in the top 15-20 rappers of all time. I think Eminem is about in the 15 range.

Well obviously Eminem was better then pac and big. Pac and big weren't even that good.

Why does everyone always try to compare everything... No other genre is like this... just accept the fact that all 3 of them made great music, and be thankful we got to hear it all

I'm a fan of Em, but don't be stupid. Now talent wise, Em is probably better than both of them. Probably. but it's more than just talent. Subject matter is a big part of it. Em dissing pop stars and celebs is corny and holds his greatness back among hip hop fans. Pac and Big always talked about real sh1t that the hip hop community could relate to.

Now if Em were to battle one of them, he'd probably serve them. Becuz he is an incredible talent. But as far as do Hip Hop as it was meant to be done, Pac and Big are above him and always will be. I do think he's somewhere in the top 15 mcs ever. He's incredible when he's on his game.

Uh, Eminem is bigger than both of them. Around the world who do you think non rap fans are more familiar with?

Also he's sold more records than both of them according to current certifications, so rap fans need to let this idea of "no one touches Big and Pac's success!" go. It's retarded. Em is already the Jordan of mainstream rap, he's the biggest selling rap artist of all-time, and he reached that status without dying.

I'll also add that Em absolutely wastes 2Pac as an MC. Biggie I admittedly haven't listened to much of him aside from his singles so I won't comment.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

So basically, amongst a bunch of elitist fags? Back when My Name Is, The Real Slim Shady and Without Me came out, they were funny and original. Eventually it got stale and he became a parody of himself by Just Lose It and We Made You, but judging by Recovery I think he's learned to let that old first single formula go. Still, there was nothing wrong with it back when it was still fresh. That stuff was popular the same reason that songs about fucking bitches and popping caps in niggaz asses are popular from other rappers: Entertainment. You think the average person who buys rap albums honestly relates to any of that gangsta shit? No. Only a VERY small percentage of people who listen to rap actually live that lifestyle or even live around it.

Pac and Big always talked about real sh1t that the hip hop community could relate to.

And the average person who isn't from the hood can probably relate to the subject matter in Eminem's serious songs a hell of a lot more than they can relate to the stuff Big and Pac rap about. That's part of the reason Em has a wider reach than Pac and Biggie. What's your point? This doesn't make any of them better than the other.
