IMO all of Em's classics are:

Lose Yourself (Obviously)
LTWYL + Not Afraid will definitely become classics if not already
My Name Is (Possibly)
Stan
The Way I Am
The Real Slim Shady
Cleaning Out My Closet
Without Me
Superman
Sing For The Moment
Like Toy Soldiers
Til I Collapse
When Im Gone (Possibly)
Mockingbird

Just my opinion

okay i read the first half of this thread and had to chime in with my personal opinion.

TES and Recovery are by far my favorite 2 eminem albums and i really do believe that they both go down in history as classics. MMLP will probably do the same because of all the love for it that i see.. that album was different than all other hip hop albums at the time and it defined eminems career basically so i guess it could be considered classic for those reasons, although its my 4TH favorite (yes 4th) eminem album. SSLP is the most iffy one in my eyes. but it had a couple big hits and a lot more of the album was great after listening to it. it was his first album and i doubt its going to receive as much credit as deserved but thats just me. but that album obviously put em on the map.

so all in all from his albums currently out....... he has 3-4 that will go down as classics.
I'm still hungry as fuck, but can't even say bon appetit

Those lines all fit in with the songs except the last one.

And the lyricism might be sloppy on a few lines in there but they're just lines. The songs in Recovery range from average lyricism (T2M, Cinderella Man) to incredible lyricism (OF, CWB & Untitled).

On Fire, Cold Wind Blows, and Untitled...incredible lyricism?

Eminem has 1 (MMLP) at a stretch he has 2 (MMLP and TES) classic rap album(s).

People set the bar for a classic way to low these days.... Do you people honestly think that Encore and Relapse is at the same level as albums such as Illmatic, Enter the Wu-Tang, The Infamous and Livestylez ov da poor and dangerous?

Ps. why the fuck do you people ALWAY'S have to bring up Lil Wayne whenever lilwayne4life tries to start a topic? Imo Lil Wayne has a classic too, Carter 2.

Yeah, Carter II is his best album. But that album, and these tracks, are still nothing special (though Carter II starts off well).

Alight im getting tired of these hating faggots, if you got anything positive to say, then why say it? it's clear he murked the track and yet your still trying to find a way and issue to hate? GTFO

Yeah, I see a couple dope lines in Untitled. That doesn't make the song "incredible lyricism"...fucking moron.

No song that contains lines such as, "girl ya got a hot butt like a lit cigarette" and his rehashed "Hanibal/cannibal/understandable" rhyme series can ever be described as "incredible lyricism"...much less a song that's just rambling.

Only songs on Recovery that could be argued as "incredible lyricism" are Going Through Changes and Love The Way You Lie, and I'm not sure I'd go quite that far about either of them.
