When Eminem released his third album like Taylor, he sold around 20 millions copies worldwide. It was already the digital era and TES was the most illegally downloaded album of the year. The difference was legal mp3 downloading wasn't popular at all and it wasn't counted towards the chart anyway. One week before the official release the album was illegally downloded more than 2,4 million times. The number was based on the downloads just from the peer2peer applications that were popular in 2002, so you can imagine the actual number of illegal downloads was much bigger.
When Taylor will have at least half of Eminem's success with her 6th or 7th album just like he has with Recovery, then you can feel a lil sad. Right now she still hasn't showed anything that Eminem didn't show us before. Actually, he showed way more without hiding himself behind country genre that was the most popular genre even 8 years ago. He still can do things she can't pull off. Like headlining three huge festivals in Europe and sell thousands of tickets within an hour.
