He wanted to be more mature and after Proof's death, nothing was funny or a joke anymore, he stopped his alter ego and all. I mean when you're not in the media, you have NO reason to keep bleaching your hair.


The bleaching the hair and alter ego was for the fans and media. Since he took a break, and in 2008 he almost died before Hailie's birthday, he just stopped bleaching his hair, and he said Slim Shady was killing his family and all in this The Way I Am book.

Well remember he stopped with the earrings after the mmlp, I think 2001. Baggy pants and that kinda stopped around 2004 cause his Encore tour, when I saw him at Madison Square Garden he didn't wear that same shit he did when I saw him on tour for TES. Though that style was pretty cool, gotta love anger management tour 3
